Tumko main churlangi tumse dil main chupalungi...

19th of August 2010, its been a few earth rotations by now but still the memories are so clear and refreshing...!

I generally hate the whole lot of men species but there are few exceptions who are unusual and more like someone whom i can adore, admire and fall in love :P They are very far but yet so near to me...

It was on this day our team decided to go on an outing to Bheemeswari around 110 KM from Bangalore. Two reasons - first one being the reimbursement of the expenses partially and the second and the most sad reason - "Robin-hood was leaving the team". Yeah the same Robin hood whose introduction you folks might have got in my earlier blogs.

The day before had a terrible head ache but still drove ma vehicle to the Lee showroom and got a nice safire blue shirt for him..

Started early in the morning and I am not interested in the details as it's a sad outing and not much excitement.

Went river rafting, trekking and archery , had food , sang songs , got tired , got pricked while bare foot walking and other usual things which happen while outing.

While archery Robin hood portrayed the real robin hood's heroic outlaw!

But the unusual adventure which I alone executed was to look at "HIM" continuously without his knowledge, while he walked, while he sang songs, while he was in water, while he ate food and in the mirror which read "Objects in the mirror are closer than they appear"!!!
Oh really!!! How I wish...

Officers have horns eh?

Wipro is a very sophisticated organization when it comes to commutation.

I happen to be one among many who rely on this service as I stay in one end of the world.

I travel in 1-D and yesterday was a fateful day for the driver. He is known for his tactics while driving and we call him out pilot. In a signal we were supposed to take right and still he drove the bus on the left side blocking the straight going vehicles. And its not surprising that a police officer caught the bus (please note its month end).

He was abusing the driver and also was demanding for the fine of 100 bucks.

A senior sir, who is on the other side of 40 or 45 also travel with us in the bus. When he tried to calm down the officer, the officer replied "baayi muchko"(for non-kannada readers "shut-up" in a very rude way).

I agree he is an officer and CM was going in that road and also he had to stop his job slipping away from him. I also accept the mistake from the driver. Whatever could be the reasons and how much ever authoritative the officer could be, he should have this basic etiquette of talking to others. If not sir at least to his age he should have given some respect. So the rest of the people in the bus became furious and started shouting and questioning the authority. For which we had to pay 500 bucks more!!!

Well, people should have the sense to understand what to talk with whom!!! You can't make a idiot understand this. At the end of the day it shows that he can't respect others coz he doesn't respect himself!!!

When a senior citizen is abused (badly) for no reason don't we have to question the authority..?

Doing so we ended up in more problems! So being quiet would have been a better choice?

On one Women's day!

During the month of March I was on a falling spree...before toppled off the bus..and then tumbled down the stairs...
Was in the process of getting ma bones intact back to form and was bored to the core..
It happened to be the 8th of March, yeah Woman's day!
Just picked up a conversation with one of ma best buddy s, Errol!

Me : "One this Women's day every woman has only one question...Is she independent?" the one question which every women is wanting know...

Errol : " if u think & ACT as u are independent.. Nothing can stop u... ur bound by nothin els dan d Power Of Imagination and ur ability to Adhere to ur imagination..."

Me : "It never answered my Q!"

Errol : "means.. whoz stopping u from being INDEPENDENT... independence.. is a feeling.. whc ought to come from inside... don't restrict urself.. Raise Up... Struggle, Strive.. n Fight for What u Deserve... thatz Independence... we all are Under Someone... parents, husbands, wives, government, we need to Raise Up... Independence can be perceived in many ways.. n for me.. standing up n Demanding what we deserved.. is INDEPENDENCE...."

Me : "This got me thinking. Do we women have the faintest idea what the freedom and independence we desire entails? We claim to have this independence and end up scolding men when they let us down emotionally. Isn... See More’t that dependence? We claim to be independent but when we realize the clock is ticking, get married to some ‘trophy husband’ only to dub him a loser when he turns out to be just that – a trophy husband. Much as ‘independent women’ would like to control their men, they do not exactly expect the men to totally concede to everything they demand. They still need a total man around the house. Isn’t that yelling out dependence?"

Errol : "
Independence in short means... Live n Let live.... and good thinking... itz real awesome..."

And the conversation ended here and we both moved on discussing other things..if i remember correctly about optimism and pessimism...He is too good at that I must say :) ...but somewhere some corner of my mind this thought kept haunting..." Is the woman really independent?? ".....!
Probably yes probably no!

As my dear friend gets engaged...

We met in 2003 during the good old college days and BOOM it’s been 6 years down the road.
By we i meant myself, Sumana - known for her B-eatiful nail growing techniques, Ramya - known for her amazing sense of humor and liveliness, Swetha - known for her A-rated jokes and Pavan - the lazy goose. Thinking no caption for me eh? I dont beleive in blowing my own trumpet :P

Our friendship grew fonder as the years went by with our graduation ceremony in 2007 and Ramya joining her company, Swe into her further studies and the rest of us joining the same company. It feels awesome to have someone you can rely on during good and bad days; someone who will be there to share and listen to your joy and sadness. I can never be more grateful enough =)

Through the milestones in life, we shared the many things we loved. Be it spending the day hanging out at our favorite cuppa noodles shop and the masala tea shop hanging on to the counter with the change which was formed with great difficulty after digging into each ones bags for around an half an hour or so.. or landing up in a theater when the lecturer was busy teaching in the class we were supposed to attend..or making a shopping trip to buy the hands-free( duplicate) and the bargaining skills of swetha..or eating the open masala dosa or kerala parota in our favorite hanging out place , the Adiga's..or pass comments..or prepare for copying in the assessment..or singing our hearts out under the tree.

They are the most caring people I ever knew; the first to be there when their friends needed any of them. Never walked away from problems but overcoming it with sheer determination.

Feb 5th happens to be a sub-set of the big day for our dear friend Ramya! She was getting engaged. We all set out to her engagement from our office in Pavan's so called Car. It only looked like a Car ( am sorry Pavan). Picked Swetha on the way and reached the place well in time.

Goooosh! There she was in her pretty blue saree at her best besides the tall handsome her "to-be". We were surprised to see a girl amongst us getting into so many responsibilities , somewhere a thought tickling our bones that we will also have to get into them some day or the other. We said Congratulations!!! and she says "psssh!!There is gulab jamoon with ice cream!!!".
That's what we are and what is important for us :P

Hogged nicely spoke few interesting words with her fiancee saw her place and left the place waving a good-bye!

I would like to make a special dedication especially to her as she marks a significant moment in her lives. Congratulations my dear and I wish you nothing but the best things in life with your loved one, family and friends.

Looking forward to your BIG day sometime soon. =)

I have a simple quote – “ A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.”

The Chariot festival && Om kleem vleem aam phat!!!

It was the 14th of november , needless to say that today is Valentine's Day? This is the feast day of Saint Valentine, patron saint of lovers and romance. The oldest known valentine still in existence today was a poem written by Charles, Duke of Orleans, to his wife while he was imprisoned in the Tower of London in 1415.

Its surprise to know that a bold and beautiful girl like me ended up spending time with my dad and his brothers. It does not in anyways mean i don't have a boy friend! In-fact i have boy friend(S) and was confused as to with whom I should go out ;)

I happen to visit the Chariot festival of India in nandi which is in a place called Chikkabalapura after a long time. The pink , yellow and radium color ribbons , the colorful wind fans , those sugar idols , the puffed rice , the colorful balloons , the toy watches , the toy mobile phones , loads and loads of plastic toys , hand-covers with Hrithik's poster on it , huge line of beggars and last but not the least the huge chariot which was all decorated with colorful clothes where the Nandi, the GOD is taken out in a procession.

It is during this time that the deity of Nandi is taken out in a grand procession in specially made gigantic temple-like chariots called raths, which are pulled by thousands of devotees.

Many believe that the custom of placing idols on grand chariots and pulling them is of Buddhist origin. Fa Hien, the Chinese historian, who visited India in the 5th century AD, had written about the chariot of Buddha being pulled along public roads.

History has it that when the British first observed the Rath Yatra in the 18th century, they were so amazed that they sent home shocking descriptions which gave rise to the term 'juggernaut', meaning "destructive force". This connotation may have originated from the occasional but accidental death of some devotees under the chariot wheels caused by the crowd and commotion. Each year these wooden chariots are constructed anew in accordance with religious specifications. The idol of the deity is also made of wood and they are religiously replaced by new ones every after 12 years.

Rath Yatra is a great festival because of its ability to unite people in its festivity. All people, rich and poor, brahmins or shudras equally enjoy the fairs and the joy they bring. You will be amazed to know that even Muslims participate in Rath Yatras! Muslim residents of Narayanpur, a village of about a thousand families in the Subarnapur district of Orissa, regularly take part in the festival, from building the chariots to pulling the rath.

When I was enjoying the fair, feeling the culture and talking to people to know about the origin of the festival , from no where an old saint came up to me. My uncle stood with his hands folded in front of him and gave a hard pinch intimating me as well to do the same. Then the saint said ,
"look into my eyes!!!"
Me: *stared at my uncle in confusion*
Uncle: "Have faith in him and look into his eyes. He is no ordinary person.Remember have faith in him!".
Me: *Nodded my head with the same confusion level and looked into his eyes*.For time being I set aside technology and logical thinking , I could really feel some divine power some spark when I looked into his eyes.
Saint:*Moved his hand from my head till the end of my arms* "Oom! Kleem! Vleem! Aam! Phat! "(the words echoed around my face). "Do not visit any temple or crack a coconut before any God( which happens to be a custom in India) till March 15th 2010. All your problems will be solved and a white horse will come in your life!!!"
Me: (Could feel silence all over something was running behind my mind? or no nothing was running I was blank, I was confused, surprised , shocked to know that he knew few facts which were true with my life)

"Why me among those thousands and thousands of people? How does he know about a fact which is so personal to me? Is he really a super natural person? Do i have to believe him now and think my time is bad till march 15th? Do i have to listen to him? ". Went back home with all these questions as worms which were eating up ma head!

And yeah don,t miss to visit such a festival in your life time and experience the culture of India.

It's YOU!

It's YOU

In me It's YOU
With me It's YOU
Around me It's YOU
Everywhere in me It's YOU
On my lips It's YOU
On my heart It's YOU
All over It's YOU
On ma cheeks It's YOU
In ma sleep It's YOU
When am awake It's YOU
Every second It's YOU
Lovely YOU

Chillness which gives me peace of mind is YOU
My madness is YOU
My army is YOU
My friendly enemy is YOU
The very first rain drop is YOU
Pain i like is YOU
It's YOU It's YOU!

The hug where i hide myself is YOU
Friend who makes me walk is YOU
Unfulfilled thirst is YOU
Unresisting friendship is YOU
Though i have gone through so much for YOU
I still like YOU!
It's YOU It's YOU!

Lone life!!!

Nobody remembers me,
Nobody is with me,
I don't get dose hiccups,
Nobody is for me,
However I see myself,
I am somebody with nobody!

Did you have food?
How are you?
Are you still alive?
These templates i have never heard in my life!
However I see myself,
I am somebody with nobody!

No-one is caring
I am myself darling,
All day long it is me,
and in my dreams as well is me!
However I see myself,
I am somebody with nobody!

Dark clouds!

Dear dark clouds,
Dear pinching breeze,
So much pain is trying to overflow from my eyes,
So much agony is hidden behind the walls of my heart,
Will you relieve me from all this pain?
Rain and breeze, will you lull me to sleep?
All the colors in rainbow are seen around me as I sip the tea,
The rain this season is a soothing music to my life...
The lightening behind those dark clouds is the beauty...
Its an evergreen thirst...
Will you relieve me from all the sorrow?
Will you.....?

Colorful Wings...!

Colorful wings!!!

If they were mine
I would fly up like a bird
I would cuddle the sky
and would lodge in there for sometime
I would talk to the clouds,
I would play with lightening,
With stars i would dine,
and would come down with rain!!!

My Love for McD's hamburger!

I cannot express my immense love towards McD's hamburger in words, but still i will make an attempt to pen down my expressions!

History of McDonalds: The business began in 1940, with a restaurant opened by brothers Dick and Mac McDonald in San Bernardino, California. Their introduction of the "Speedee Service System" in 1948 established the principles of the modern fast-food restaurant. The original mascot of McDonald's was a man with a chef's hat on top of a hamburger shaped head whose name was "Speedee." Speedee was eventually replaced with Ronald McDonald by 1967 when the company first filed a U.S. trademark on a clown shaped man having a puffed out costume legs.

Though the above is a CCP ( Cut-Copy-Paste) from wikipedia , it sort of interests me to show my gratitude to the person who started it and want others as well to know about them.

Every time i see the magical "M" along the streets of Bangalore my eyes wide open , my tongue smacks ma lips and a broad smile across my face.

The creamy white mayonnaise sauce, with those fresh lettuce leaves and the tikki being held amidst the two halves of the burger..yumm!

Eating burger with friends...hmmmm...lemme think...I personally feel when am pigging on the burgers with my friends, i do have some restrictions the way i carry myself. I concentrate on the way i look and meanwhile forget to relish the burger. This is not the case when am having with my DAD! I can be myself and relish it 99%. Yeah the 1% also is important. How i wish i am locked up inside a room piled up with a loads of hamburgers?

Or how i wish i just get locked inside the McD's food center "ACCIDENTALLY" ... while i am writing this my lower jaw has thrown a notch and am already imagining...

I m indeed loving it...and would love to have it all day long :)
